For this costume recreation I picked Jessie from Toy Story. You can go out and buy a costume but, what fun is that. Half the fun of dressing up for Halloween is creating your costume. I put together the items you'll need to look super cute in your Jessie outfit. The items I picked are just suggestions so by all means make it your own and substitute items for your own ideas! Have fun with it!

Top

I pick a yellow button down or you can go with a white one instead! If you can find a white top with yellow detail even better but, if not a plain yellow or white top will work just fine! Spirit Halloween is selling a Jessie shirt if you prefer to be more authentic!

Bottoms

I wanted to have fun with this piece so I went with a cow print skirt. Cow print has become very popular so it should be relatively easy to hunt one down. I found this fun mini flair skirt on Amazon. You can also wear your favorite pair of jeans with this costume.

Shoes

I thought a cute pair of booties would just look so cute with this costume. Cowgirl boots would be perfect of course but, if you don't have any you can substitute them with your favorite brown booties.

Accessories

Any belt that you have in your closet will work just fine. If you want a belt like Jessie's then you'll want a thick brown belt. If you use a thinner belt or a black one they will still look super cute with the costume.

If you want add your own flair to the costume you can grab a red bandana. You can either tie it around your neck or keep it folded in a shirt or pant pocket. You can find one of these bad boys anywhere. They can easily be found at any Walmart or Target. Even if you can't find a red bandana any color will work for the costume.

We can't have a Jessie costume without having a red cowgirl hat to go with it. This is the Jessie costume hat from Target. This one is actually meant for a Jessie costume. I couldn't find anywhere in the product description if it was for kids or adults so hopefully it will work for your costume.

I wanted to include multiple options

for cowgirl hats to hopefully make it easier to find one. This cowgirl hat is from Spirts Halloween store. I thought this one was super cute with the star on the front of the hat. If you have your own cowgirl hat at home you can always use that one as well!

To top of our Jessie costume you'll want a yellow hair tie. I found this super cute hair scarf from Francesca's. A yellow hair scrunchy would also look super cute with this costume. Most stores that carry hair accessories should have some type of yellow hair tie.
