Spend This Spring/Summer Season in Style With These 10 Trendy Colors

With spring knocking at our doorsteps and summer just around the bend it’s time to bring a little more color into our lives. The list of New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021 trends have been out for months now but just in case you have missed the colors for the up coming seasons I’ve got your back. If you love earth tones and flexible colors that can move from season to season, then this season’s palette is for you. For Spring/Summer 2021 the theme was earth tones and colors that can be found naturally in the world around us. These are also colors that can be incorporated throughout the seasons of 2021 and are easy to work with in the everyday wardrobe.
Pantone has released the full palette including core classics with swatches of all fifteen colors. There are ten shades in the palette with five core classic shades. A core classic color is considered to be a shade that works for all seasons and will always be stylish. They are also great neutrals giving more freedom for personal flair. Pantone describes the trending shades as colors that will inspire people to feel creative. Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, commented “Offering a range of shades illustrative of nature, colors for Spring/Summer 2021 underscores our desire for flexible color that works year-round.”. I’ve included a list of seven shades from the palette and three core classics for a total of 10 trendy colors to keep an eye out for during your next shopping spree.
Color Palette:
Marigold

Formulated by a blend of yellow and warm golden orange for a beautiful warm tone. The combination of yellow and orange captures the beauty from the flower bring it into your wardrobe. With the bright fiery hues this shade will also transition into fall perfectly.
Cerulean

This shade of blue captures the beauty of clear blue sky when there are no clouds in sight. You’ll be having dreams of picnics in the park and laying under the clear powdery blue sky while day dreaming. Cerulean is a gorgeous cool tone blue that will still look amazing when winter rolls back around.
Rust

I know you are probably confused by this shade since it’s typically thought of as a classic fall shade. Rust is making its mark as a spring and summer color this year. Shake things up this spring with this warm earth tone that combines brown, orange, and red shades. With the shades resemblance to autumn leaves means this shade will always transition wonderfully into fall.

Brighten your wardrobe with this bright sunshine yellow that will bring you and everyone around you feelings of joy and happiness. This shade will put a smile on your face every time you pass a mirror. The warm tone will be looking great as the season transitions into the fall.
Burnt Coral

This beautiful warm tone will give you visions of the canyons out west in the sun. As well as the lively coral reefs in the ocean. Radiating with warmth this warm tone color will give a pop of color to your wardrobe all year long.
Mint

Instead of the pastel version of this shade this color can be found on the leaf of a mint plant. This lovely green will be perfect for your spring clothing for a pop of color. This refreshing cool tone will give you dreams of mojitos and sunny beaches. Mint will give your winter wardrobe a fun splash of color.
Amethyst Orchid

Talk about a fun pop of color to add some variety to your closet this spring. For the person who loves floral shades this purple is perfect for you. This cool tone will transition beautifully into fall and winter to keep the bright bold colors going all year long.
Core Classics:
Buttercream

When looking for an easy color to incorporate into your closet this beautiful soft cream will be perfect. Buttercream is a great way to add a little more color if you are the type of person who loves classic white. This warm tone is an absolute classic for all seasons and will look fanatics with your sun kissed skin this summer.

For a darker take on sand this shade will look amazing on every skin tone. Also making for a great neutral that will pair easily with other colors. This warm tone will give you images of sand mounds drifting in the desert under the hot sun. When fall comes rolling around this year, sand will transition perfectly to fit all of the warm shades found in the autumn leaves.

The most fun color to work with in this palette is by far willow. With its different hues that are incorporated in creating this color it causes it to be really fun to work into your closet. Willow is the definition of earth tone with its hues of green, brown, and yellow that can be detected. This pretty, warm tone will make you want to go to a park and read under a giant willow until sunset. Once summer comes to an end this shade will transition perfectly into fall and winter.
As someone who loves earth tones and fun pops of colors to work into my wardrobe, I absolutely love this color palette for Spring/Summer 2021. I also love the ability to work these colors into the rest of the seasons throughout 2021. Although these shades will make for a great addition to your clothing, they are also great for home décor. Spice up your interior design with these super fun colors this summer for a little change of scenery.
